Former Italy international Zambrotta said in an interview that he believes that Inter Milan’s new aid Ashraf is currently the best young foreign player in Serie A.
In the previous two seasons, Ashraf played for Dortmund on loan. This summer, Inter Milan spent 40 million euros to introduce the 21-year-old Morocco international from Real Madrid.
"If we talk about excellent young players, I think the strongest young foreign player in the league is Ashraf. He played in 45 games in Dortmund last season, with 9 goals and 10 assists. The famous full-back considers his age. Such statistics are very beautiful." Zambrotta said.
"Ashraf can play as a full-back as well as a wingback. If Conte uses a five-midfield formation, he can make a difference. Serie A is a brand new league for him, and there will be some unknowns, but in With Conte’s help he was able to make great progress."
